People Should Be Scared About Global Warming

NOW the Government is telling us to be scared about global warming.

Is it just me, or were we informed that we could expect to see some major changes over the next few years in our weather patterns, when in actual fact, they are happening now?

OUR government is putting £10 million pounds into renewable energy research. WHAT? A paltry £10 million! They must think we are idiots!

As a nation, and indeed, as a species, we should be diverting ALL available funds into this research. In the 1950's we were 3 billion people, we are now 6 billion. At this rate of growth, we are going to devour all our resources in no time at all, just like a virus!

I agree we need to invest, but come on! Shouldn't we ALL be doing our bit instead of moaning about the weather and about having to split our rubbish into relevant bins?

We are the second lowest in the EU for the amount we recycle. In Holland, it's over 2/3rds of their rubbish is recycled. If they can do it, why can't we?

Of course, this needs to be indoctrinated into our children, and indeed, it is. But what about the other 5 billion people? As a species, we need to work together to resolve this or our planet will die, and us with it!
