Silent Hill - The Movie

I've been a fan of Silent Hill ever since the original game, and it was impossible to pass up on purchasing this DVD from Tesco.

So I got my beer and munchies ready, turned out the lights and started the film.....

The film is based on the best selling survival horror game Silent Hill and is just under 2 hours long.

The film stars Radha Mitchell (Man On Fire) as a mother who's adopted daughter sleepwalks and keeps mentioning 'Silent Hill'. She decides to take her there in an effort to cure her. And then it all goes pear shaped!

What a fantastic film! The picture is crisp and the special effects match up perfectly!

This is definitely a disturbing film and the sound is awesome, following the same formula as was in the games.

If you like weird, supernatural horror/thriller movies, you'll love this film.

If you are a fan of the games, you will be amazed at how the director and special effects team have literally brought Silent Hill to life.

I defy anybody not to watch this film and be suitably impressed. Definitely a cult film.
