Yep, it's September, and with it the usual invasion of Daddy Longlegs, or Crane Flies.
What is their purpose in the great circle of life?
Why do there seem to be so many more?
And what will be the outcome of this abundance?
Well, they don't do a lot except provide food for other insects and birds. Because of the unusual September weather conditions, they are thriving.
And the outcome? Well, bigger spiders for one!
