Internet giant Google has bought a landmark in its history - the suburban home where it was founded in 1998.
In 2004, Hewlett-Packard - which started out as a manufacturer of test equipment - paid $1.7m for the garage where it was founded in the Californian town of Palo Alto in 1938.
See, this will be listed as a historical building in the future, just as much as Shakespeares Home of even the Coliseum in Rome!
Americans, they have so little history compared to England and Europe, but they have created so much history in the last 60 years to make up for the 10,000 years they are behind us!
