Tens of thousands of unsolved crimes could be cracked with a new forensic technique, it has been claimed.
So, genetic fingerprinting is becoming a pre-requisite for criminal investigations.
I'm all for advancements, but we are in danger of becoming like the society in the film Gattaca, or even a new Orwellian world! Maybe it should have been entitled 2084 not 1984?
