About 8 years ago, I broke my back in a gardening accident (Don't ask!) and as such, have weakened my spine to the point where I am sometimes unable to work due to the painkillers and problems with my back.
Approaching 40, I have had to re-address my whole life situation and have decided that my only option is to set up my own business. I have no capital but plenty of sales and marketing experience, so I know this is going to be an uphill struggle.
Moved to this area a little over a year ago from Rochdale, Manchester. Due to personal circumstances (I told you not to ask!) I now find myself in an unfamiliar town with very few acquaintances and on my own.
I'm determined to make a success of this opportunity, but it is going to be hard. And there is no way I am moving back 'Up North'.
My latest dilemma is which way to go career wise. I really do want my own business to be successful, but the situation at the minute is putting extreme pressure on me to find regular income from finding a job. However, my disability is going to be a major factor in my life, if I like it or not, and is severely hampering my efforts to find income.
I want to go to college and learn Web Development, but that cost's money.
Anyway, just a bit of info for anyone who's interested.
