I hate PC's!

Well, I've just spent 3 hours trying to get a computer running Windows ME to accept a damn camera! What a kerfuffle! At the rate it was going, it was going to take another 3 hours to get it operational, and that would require charging them £150 for the work done. I can't do that, so ended up bringing the damn thing home, so I can backup the files on it and reformat the Hard Drive and install Windows 2000 Pro on it until they upgrade.

The good news is they want Fenland IT to supply their new PC when they upgrade, so I'll just re-coup my losses then.

They were impressed with the service and have taken a dozen business cards to pass to their friends. They have also promised to buy their printer cartridges through Fenland IT, as we are between £5 and £10 cheaper than what they have been paying.

They even told some of their friends about us while I was there, which was really encouraging.

But, one thing I have learnt recently is what people say they are going to do and what they ACTUALLY do are often totally different. Only time will tell eh?

But, all in all, it was a productive evening. If I could earn £250 a week while I get everything set up, I'd be very happy.
