Fulham Were Hammered!

Just watched the highlights of Manchester United v Fulham. 5-1....and Fulham were hammered! To be fair, Utd played really well, utilising the wide players to their full potential. Again, Giggs was on form and it showed. I've always said that you should give Giggs 45 minutes and if he's not on form, get him off. But Fulham were awful, and Michael Brown's tackle on Giggs was awful! That was deserving a red card and a fine, as he could easily have crippled him! But credit where it's due.....well done United, but let's see how they do against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and their bogey team Bolton Wanderers.

Manchester City v Chelsea, 3 - 0. John Terry played just as well as he did against Greece and scored a really nice goal. Nice play to set up Lampard for his goal too, but terrible goalkeeping helped on his goal I think. Drogba's goal was superb, what a powerful header from a glorious cross. Watch Shevchenko, he'll get a load of goals this season I think. Again, credit where it's due.

In both games I thought the tackling was vicious, but that's probably borne out of frustration, understandable but inexcusable in my opinion. And what was with the hair pulling? Girlie!

And again, the issue is raised about refereeing. Is it time for replays? Maybe allow each team 3 opportunities to have a decision reviewed after replay? I don't know the answer, but something needs to be done soon.
