Bloody hell!
Received an email from my Burnley College work colleague Joyce today! Fantastic! She is one funny lady and one of the most interesting and entertaining people I have ever met! It's a rare thing these days to know somebody who is so genuine and 'nice'. Lifted my spirits it did, and God knows they need lifting!
Anyway, enough of the drivvle, it was great to hear from her. Pity I only had bad news to convey!
Also found out that another old work colleague of mine has just had 12 months off dealing with cancer! The guy is the same age as me! Makes you realise that no matter how low you feel, there's ALWAYS someone worse off than yourself.
