Well, I've just had a fantastic night, got loads done.
Firstly, I've designed the layout of the website, on paper anyway, so I'll be spending the next few days building and uploading. I'll post on here as soon as it's uploaded. Decided to go with Frontpage as opposed to Dreamweaver, as it enables me to upload to my Linux server without having to mess around with FTP etc. This means I can update my site 'real-time'.
Decided to go with a Linux server as it's cheaper, faster and more stable. Plus you get loads of free plugins because it's open source software, like Forums, SQL databases, sub domains etc.
And thanks to my excellent negotiating skills, Fenland IT Ltd can now offer web hosting, design and administration at exceedingly good rates. Also negotiated a sub-contract with a London company to provide IT Support to their current and new customers in the Cambridgeshire area.
I have several corporate presentations to do next week, so I'm also preparing a Powerpoint presentation on Fenland IT Ltd and the services we can offer. Also have a couple of appointments to sort out some Business Grants that we're eligible for, which would help.
Anyway, off to bed now. Busy day ahead, hunched over my screen, as per normal.
